Round two started with Bo Mi Lee having a one shot lead over several former tour winners, including Hee Kyung Seo and Aram Cho. Lee did not have a particularly good day, though, shooting a 74 to fall down the leaderboard.

The player who charged out to an early lead was Aram Cho. Cho made three birdies on the front nine and added one more at 11 to move to 8 under total. Hee Kyung Seo was trying to keep pace, but only made it to 6 under. For the moment, the advantage went to Cho.

But on the back nine, another superstar charged up the leaderboard. So Yeon Ryu was 2 under on the front nine to move to 4 under total, but made birdie on 12 and 13 and an eagle on the par 5 15th to vault to 8 under and a tie for the lead. She would finish the day at 8 under.

Cho made a bogey on 14, but followed that with her own eagle on 15 to move into the lead at 9 under. Unfortunately, she bogied her final hole of the day, but still finished in a tie for the lead with Ryu at 8 under.
Bo Kyung Kim is among those tied for third at 6 under, while Seo finished at 5 under and is still very much in the hunt.
Hee Kyung Seo
Among the other top stars, Sun Ju Ahn is at 4 under, while He Yong Choi and Ha Neul Kim are well back at even and one over par totals.
One more day to go! Can Ryu get her second win of 2009, or will Cho have something to say about that?
